In September of 2007, Yeung's Chinese Restaurant acquired the building that housed the iconic Chinese restaurant Fu Man Chu, for over 70 years. The building underwent extensive renovation for several months, giving the landmark building new life and revitalizing it for the 21st century. In May of 2008,  Yeung's restaurant  moved from 41 street where it has been located for the past 25 years and opened it's door on 71 street, as East Ocean Chinese Cuisine.  This is our only location.


Yeung's has been in the beach since 1982, serving delicious authentic Chinese food. Yeung's has been the winner of several Best of Miami by both the New Times and Sun Post newspapers, including best take-out, best Chinese food, best Peking duck and more. The restaurant has been Zagat rated for several years and reviewers says "...this old-fashioned cuisine churns out good dishes, its inexpensive for dining in and great for take out".  Yeung's, now East Ocean offers a sophisticated decor and atmosphere while keeping prices low and accessible to any.  East Ocean specializes in Cantonese, Mandarin and Szechuan cuisine, it is the blend of these styles that make our restaurant truly unique.


We have a vast selection of wines, cocktails and sakes to accompany your meal.  There is also a great selection of desserts and coffees to finish your meal with a sweet touch.  East Ocean offers great deals on catering and have a second floor cocktail's bar and mezzanine used only for private parties.
